Day 188 - Jefferson's Monticello

Today Andi joined us for a drive out to Monticello.  The drive was lovely, winding through the Virginia hills past quaint farms and homes.  Once at the park we wandered the beautifully laid out museum before hiking up to the mansion for a tour of the house, the outbuilding, and the gardens. We ended out day with a visit to the cemetery and then back into town for a home-cooked meal courtesy of our hostess.
