At this Visitor Center we found the world's smallest public cinema. Too early for the show.
We popped in to the booth and made a call to Dr. Who. SHE was not in. The children's park was cuite. We were to old.
We saw signs to a castle. When we got there it was closed on Monday. There was a fellow in a government truck at the gate getting ready to do some power line work. He offered to unlock the gate and let us in. We wandered around the ruins for a bit. He was quite nice and offered us a bit of his local knowledge. Wow.
This country manor was set high up on a hill nestled within the trees. It was a good mile away. Do I have a good zoom or what!!!
Another quaint little house in the woods.
For $6 each we wandered the many towers, tunnels, and enjoyed the views from the top.
This is the chamber where today's monarchy was born. The baby depicted is No. 8 himself. Henry, not Willie or Sam.
97 steps up and the same down.
And then by chance we found the underground cavern. Very cool.
