Day 19 - A Free Day in Oslo...and Goodbye to our Dear Kristin

Today was our last day in Oslo.  Kristin joined us for one more tour around the city.  Today she introduced us to Henrik Ibsen, Norway's playwright laureate and we toured his home.

Sadly, we said goodbye to our host as she flew off to Nice, France for a romantic week with her hubby.  From there we walked a bit around the royal palace grounds and then got on a bus to visit the Kon Tiki and Maritime Museums.  WOW!!!  This is the real raft.

Then the Ra, the papyrus raft used to sail the Atlantic.

Across the street we went to see the FRAM.  The only boat to historically sail to the North Pole and Antarctica.  Just what we needed...a few more boats....

Then it was one to the Maritime Museum and a great movie about the Norway Fjords, boating, and more boating.  I was so involved in the film that I toook zero pictures in the museum...LOL.

At the end of the day we took another ferry back into town, grabbed a sandwich at a Subway...yes...and headed back to the hotel for the big event of the evening.

Finally.....
 Wow...my Sasha...all growed up.
 My kind of "boat."
