We hired a private guide and driver for a full day at Versailles. Grand palaces of Louis XIV and moern French diplomacy. It was magnificent just like the other chateaus. The tour of the inside lasted about three hours. Enjoy the photos. Way too many to make any comments.
When we finished the main buildings we headed across town to the Monument Cafe. A five star Trip Adviro raiting and a 1 Star Michelin chef. We were not disappointed.
After lunch we traveled back into the ground of the chateau and visited the gardens...in the rain.
Awesome hidden garden theater with fountain.
Next up was the Grand and Petit Trianon. The homes of Marie Antoinette.
It was a long and grand day!
