We broke camp and traveled a few hours to Ajanta to visit the complex of 29 ancient Buddhist temples cut into the rock face. It was incredibly hot and the shade offered little relief...but the spectacle of these amazing caves made it worth our while.

At the end of our tour we traveled another two hours to Ellora where we enjoyed a great room and a relazing evening.  Our last meal with Rafik and Habib, our wonderful bush cooks.
