Day 23 - Scottish Highlands and a Whisky Distillery

We headed out of our bothy and climbed up and down the valleys and mountains of the Scottish Highlands for a few hours, passed by several ski resorts and a few really lovely national parks.

Halfway through our drive we passed through the town of Killin and its really fabulour bridge and waterfalls.  We stopped in for a morning coffee and cake at the inn across from the sitel.

Our primary destination was the Blair Athol Distillery in Pitlochky.  We had a picnic lunch on the grounds and then toured the facility.  And, yes I was NOT supposed to take photos inside...sigh.

We ended our day in Callander at a sweet apartment with historic significance and settles in for a quiet night.
